The response to our project from the farmers has been wonderful - so much so that the extent of the habitat works will create an unbroken corridor of improved riparian habitat of over 5 ½ miles from the Escley’s confluence with the Monnow, at Longtown to Michaelchurch Escley where it meets the extensive works that have been done on John Williams’ eponymous Estate. The other great bit of news this that all of the farmers have agreed to let their fishing on WUF’s Passport scheme.
