There is a huge network of footpaths in the area offering a chance to walk in some of the most stunningly beautiful countryside.

 

The Breacon Beacons National Park authority offer guided walks

 

There is a “Monnow Valley Walk” – 65km from Monmouth to Hay-on-Wye. The route is a linking series of circular walks that also joins the Offa's Dyke Path at  both ends, making for a multitude of route options.
