The sad state of the Dore - 3 months after drying up the Dore is now running again.  This is good news, but the MRA is pressing the Environment Agency for details of the under-lying cause of this tragic event.  Meanwhile, monitoring continues.

Golden Valley Fish & Wildlife have the stated aim of to raising

"...awareness of threats to fish and wildlife, particularly in Herefordshire's Golden Valley, and to link up with other individuals and organisations to target problems, conduct surveys, and take positive action to enhance local biodiversity"

They have been monitoring the perilously low levels and recording their findings in a series of photographs which you can now view on their new web site

The MRA would like to like to wish them every success in their current and future projects - please show your support by emailing goldenvalleyfishandwildlife@hotmail.co.uk
